As you have continued to grow the Versace brand, did it ever become evident that you might have to change or modify the visions Gianni originally had for his company. If you have deviated from the path he started on, has this left you with any feeling of betrayal to what he originally wanted?

Dear Ms. Versace: I am a long time fan of your wonderful and elegant artistic products and own a broad collection of your products, especially in jewelries and watches. I was originally from China and have been in North American for 20 years. Now I work as a professor and director of a medical college in Houston. I have strong financial interests in fashion businesses in China and am a principal of a cosmetics products distribution chain in the booming southern China. I have strong confidence in promoting your products in China. I am wondering if you, or any of your associates, can let me know your current presence and future expansion plan in China. Thank you! Dr. Kuan Yang

A poll conducted by "The View" found that the majority of women have an issue with wearing fur, making it a seemingly unpopular inclusion for use in your clothing line.
Also, it is known that animals used for their fur coats suffer excruciating levels of pain and torture in steel-jaw leghold traps for a length of hours and sometimes several days on end prior to having their necks broken or being stomped to death by the trapper without any pain releif. Those raised in fur farms will spend their entire existence trapped within the tight confines of a filth-encrusted cage to eventually have their necks broken or be electrocuted or suffocated to death.
Why do you continue to use fur despite the fact that is is both a commercially and morally unattractive option?

Recently, Hilary Clinton refused to appear in Vogue magazine, fearing to appear too feminine. What do you think of women's role in society today in terms of women's rising superiority in this so-called "man's world" in contrast of what it was in the past? In the past, as the sole leader of Versace brand, were you ever challenged by the traditional roles and perception of women? How did you response to it?
