Is it OK if I just say that I think you are doing a terrific job and this 81 year old has been atound long enough to know a class act when it appears. Unlike the rant by Henry Eickhoff, I am very hopeful of our country's future with the Democrats in charge for a great big CHANGE! All best wishes ...

Please use your considerable power to get a bill passed to eliminate automatic pay raises for Congress. This should be voted on for each pay raise so that the state of the economy is reflected. Certainly very few people are getting raises this year IF they have a job at all. You people got a raise for 2009 even though you voted not to do this automatically for 2010. Shame on all of you for taking these raises!
Thank you.

In the constitution is says' that government can make money and pay back with no interest. So with that being said, Our Forefathers warned of a fiat paper making money system such as The Federal Reserve(btw, is not even a federal program) that charges interest to people, inflation, deflation brings wealth to only the elite and each time it will happen more and more and with greater depression each time on people bringing more into debt and poverty. Since Federal Reserve is not even a federal program it was made up on Jekyl Island by a group of Private bankers and brought in secretly for gov to borrow from then people pay the interest back with taxes. Solution to this: abolish federal reserve, make up money to pay the debt back and go back to sound banking which in turn is going to bring back a chance at prosperity for all , not just the elite few who profit off thi corrupt system. We can't afford not to go on borrowing from the corrupt bankers. There is a bill that was made up to Abolish The Fed Reserve, by Ron Paul in 2007 , and is still sitting on the table with no co- sponsers the last I checked. What is wrong with these other Representatives. It is plain to see ever since These bankers formed this program we have been at a lost. Come on wake up!!!!!!Hence; history repeating?? People, media keep lying to other people and people eventually believe these lies

What are your plans if Oboma wins in Nov. Will congress stop sleeping and can we expect you to start doing your job like taking care of our people instead of playing all these stupid political games. America is tired of seeing you guys going on vacation while you derelict your duties on the hill. Oh and how about you dems finally take responsibility for this economic crises that you caused instead of blaming everything on GWB, its a good thing for you that your base lets movie stars give them their opinions or you would be out of a job.

How can over two million Americans risk themselves to request impeachment for the President, and you wont even chip a fingernail for us? I find this very wrong. Your allowing the crimes commited go unpunished, and our childrens future at great risk. May I ask how you can sleep at night? We cant anymore ourselves.

Ms. Pelosi,
I sincerely respect and appalude your years of service to our country and to the State of California. However, I am curious to know when you intend to step aside as Speaker of the House in order to allow a new ideology that hopefully will breed and/or instill a fresh and much needed "Work Ethic" on behalf of the AMERICAN people within the House of Congress! We NEED individuals who like yourself, hold powerful positions of authority to NOW LEAD THIS COUNTRY BY EXAMPLE! NOT WITH MERE WORDS... NOT THROUGH BLAME GAMES REFLECTING ON THE PAST... NOT WITH POLITICAL AGENDAS LEADING THE CHARGE...BUT THROUGH DEEDS!!! DEEDS THAT HAVE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE'S BEST INTEREST FIRST AND FOREMOST!

It has been painstakingly obvious that over the past two (2) years nothing is... or probably will change. More importantly, within the past two (2) weeks, you and the members of Congress are either unwilling or unable to make the difficult decisions to move this Country forward without turning it into a politiical circus!

Please consider your ability and willingness to give 100% of yourself. TO LEAD BY EXAMPLE and DEMAND NOTHING LESS from the other members or consider stepping aside. There is nothing dishonorable in admitting the job is too big in these extremely difficult times. In fact, I am certain it would be viewed as being patriotic. The stakes are way too high!

Recently the cost of goods, transportation, and utility cost have went up across our nation. Many people who live on fixed incomes such as S.S.I. due to legitamate disabilities incomes have not been adjusted to reflect the cost of living and the little increase they recieve each year has left them in a state of many finding their utilities cut off, having little food etc. I would like to know why each year the struggles of the poor are not being addressed in Congress and what we hear concentrates on upper middle class incomes and higher.
Can you imagine living on just a little over 6 thousand dollars a year which is the average in Illinois and each year you get a ten to twelve dollar raise what little food stamps you get are cut due to the raise. Imagine going to college to retrain yourself so you can be a productive tax paying member of society again but each time your student loan comes in you have your benefits cut for a month. I feel that congress and the senate as a whole have become out of touch with a great majority of american citizens who are also suppose to have a voice. I find it amazing that I have yet to hear Mc Cain or Obama address the problem of the elderly and disabled on limited income or see Congress do something to address this problem. I purposely did not file for the stimulus check as I could not afford to have this considered as income which then has an affect on my meagre resources the following month. After rent and utilities I have exactly 18 dollars left for the month and my copays on my medicines are 48 dollars a month so I have to choose what to go without or short change doses constantly. I will graduate college in less than one year with a perfect GPA and be able to go back to work but at a great cost and often existing on ketchup and water in tough months. Please tell me why congress will not address issues of adjusting fixed incomes to reflect the real cost of living. I have not bought one piece of clothing in 5 years as I can not afford to even shop at a thrift store, I do not even own a bed and there are hundreds of thousands of people just like me whose voices are not heard.
Thank You for your time, I just need answers and have some security to know I will eat tommorrow.
