bill, where is that lady that was on your show scolding you for what you said about that older lady at the news conference, helen i think, was her name. she should be standing up for the usa contestant. unbelievable. is there any way you could have her back on your show. also, i think, the reason msnbc is going down is because no matter what time you turn the tv. by their broadcast they are talking about tortune and how to get mr. bush and his people. unreal. they make a whole show out of it. i just shake my head and proceed to keep turning the channel. from 5 p.m. up until 10:00 p.m. they talk about torture. they must not have had any friend or relatives in the twin towers or at the pentagon. enjoy your show. keep it real. thanks.

What are your thoughts on legalizing marijuana? I know you are no liberal by any means and probably wish to keep marijuana still illegal. Looking at real facts though, marijuana is not harmfull. Sure its not the best thing for you to do, but we eat fastfood and drink alcohol everyday harming our bodies, so thinking like any normal conservative shouldnt those be illegal also? Another thing I would like to ask you is why is marijuana a schedule I drug? If you dont know read what a schedule I drug is and tell me if you think pot is that dangerous.

Why haven't we heard more from Brooksley Born, former chair of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission? She, in 1997, warned that unregulated trading of so-called "over-the-counter" derivatives presented a serious threat to the financial system...that the lack of transparency in the "dark market" was a disaster waiting to happen.

The population of the USA is approximately 320,000,000. If $1,000,000,000 ,minus 50% tax, were given to every American, why wouldn't that be as good a bailout solution as throwing it down the black hole we have been feeding? So far no one has been helped. At least the people who will be responsible for the hugh debt would benefit and it would take a lot less money. All debts would be paid and lots could be purchased. How could inflation be worse than a hugh depression?

Dear Bill;
   My husband said he has heard our president-to-be say the word "aks",instead of "ask" Is this true? Is this what our country has resorted to? I hate the way our country is tearing up our language. Here's a couple more I truly hate. "Do you wanna go with?" and " e.g. "If the wind had blew any harder , it would have drug me across the yard." Your thoughts please...Cindy

I have always believed & still do, our country collects so much money in taxs from us thats it's not even funny. My point being the way our gov. is spending our tax money is proof they in reality do not need to tax our paychecks. If they used just a fraction of common sense when it comes to spending they would still collect more money than needed. I'm not trying to be funny or anything, I believe this is clearly true. No one ever brings this up.
        I would so much like you to confront (someone) on this issue. At the rate our gov. spends & waste & gives it away is nothing but pure evidence that our payroll taxs are not needed. I also know our gov. once they get something they don't want to give it back. It's been proven also that our gov. must spend whats alloted to them or their years budget will be smaller because they did not need as much as they got the year before. So they will deliberately do what ever is neccessary to spend the money so that they can ask for more the next year. This is a topic someone needs to bring to light.
