Was your father active in your life during your childhood and into your adulthood? What sort of advantages do you have due to having your father in your life at all?

I ask this question because I am curious what you think young girls (especially African American girls) miss out on in a home where their mothers and grandmothers raise them.

I would like to know what prompted your move from rap music to movies and if you had to take acting classes ? Also if there would ever be another rap album from the Queen?

  • 18

If you were the President of the United states of America for a day, what single important thing will you do?

  • 19

hi mine is not a question but a comment. i hope there is room for that.
i find you, (Latifah) very dymanic and versatile. that is what i like about you. But i aslo like your style, from the hair to the thick madam look. in my opinion is a world where people are driving their bodies to the grave trying to be size zero, you look very nice and i like the look. Plus you know how to dress your body! that what people need to learn, how to appreciate themselves, how to pray the serenity prayer and how to dress. off course learn how to live life like its the last day, like the Holiday movie you did. it has become my life reference. you need to visit Kenya. its a very beautiful country. Thank you.

You started off with a lot of other sisters like MCLyte, Toni Braxton, Da Brat,Shanice, Mary J Blidge but only you and Mary J still holding forte.
What happened to the rest? And why did the rest not make it to the top?

  • 21

Will there ever, ever EVER be another rap album to show the current rappers how to make classy, stylish and intelligent music?

  • 22

    Dear Queen,

Looking back, what was your childhood dream and where you able to make it come true?

    Kind regards,

    Jeroen Aoijs from Bali, Indonesia

  • 23

You are star...and been for while now! As we have seen with other celebrities, I would like to know when are where you were involved in activities that made a diffference to those in distress. It can be youngsters from the slums in South America, a sick kid in India, a mama expecting a child in Africa, the homeless in the US. I really admire you for what you came to be, and you inspire a great deal of my sisters around here in Africa.

    Love You,
    PN
